Vertical blinds

Vertical blinds stand vertically and are often made quite thick of flat plastic (PVC), fabric, embossed PVC, faux wood materials, metal or wood. They draw to the side rather than lifting and lowering which makes them quicker and easier to operate.

Stationary vertical blinds can be hung in doorways of homes and businesses when a door is open to keep insects out while allowing some air to circulate. Another common application are cold rooms of food businesses where blinds slows the heat leakage into the cold room. Offices use blinds to keep sunshine out and bock the view in as a burglary deterrent.

With MOVE you can easily motorize your vertical blinds at home. Vertical blinds are generally operated with a bead chain and a cord loop for fully open/closed and tilt the lamellas. You will need one motor for each operating mechanism if you want total control over your vertical blind. *Important* MOVE does not support a tilt wand.

The product is easily installed by yourself and you can control your vertical blinds in the MOVE Teptron app from your smartphone.
